Interlibrary Loan

The Kennesaw State Library System offers interlibrary loan services to current KSU faculty, staff, students, and retirees with Emeritus Faculty status. These patrons may use interlibrary loan's ILLiad system to obtain loans of books or other physical items (e.g. microfilm) or copies of items that the KSU Library does not own.

If you have questions about this service, we recommend you consult the FAQs

Fines Policy for Interlibrary Loan

Due to the fact that these items are not owned by the KSU Library System and one person’s delinquency can block the entire university from borrowing privileges, the Interlibrary Loan office of Kennesaw State University charges fines for overdue ILL items and can block students in Banner. These fines apply to KSU faculty, staff, students, and retirees with Emeritus Faculty status and will be added to your library account. Failure to pay these fines will result in a loss of borrowing privileges and for students it will also result in a block in Banner.

First week overdue - $3
Second week overdue - $6
Third week overdue - $9

Lost/Damaged Policy for Interlibrary Loan

If an item is lost or returned damaged, the patron will be responsible for all costs to repair or replace the item. The lending library will provide the cost of the repair or replacement and any processing fees via invoice which will be applied to the patron’s library account. Patrons may provide a new and identical replacement copy only if approved by the lending library.

Please remember to return or renew your ILL books by the due date on the book to avoid incurring fines.
